The Rosary is a beautiful devotion about the life death and resurrection of Jesus. It is a bible prayer. It is also powerful against satan. It is the chain that will bind satan. The Way of the Cross is also a very good devotion. Mental Prayer is also good. The Divine Mercy chaplet and devotion is also excellent as it helps us get to know the Mercy of God. The Holy Hour or the Visits to the Blessed Sacrament are also a good devotion. You also get indulgences when you make these devotions when you pray for the Pope and his intentions. The lives of the saints also teach us how to pray. The Mass is the best prayer and devotion.

I am in intercessory prayer and this is a beautiful post. Study the Bible and a christian book store can point you to prayer devotion and studies.

I was healed of mental anguish due to the power of prayer and I have been in the ministry for 10 years. I would encourage you to keep a prayer request book of peoples prayers and pray for them as the Holy Spirit leads.

The best part of prayer is talking and communing with God and seeing Gods faithfulness and good ness in answered prayers as well as unanswered prayers.

Honestly the best way to study prayer is to pray. Try this. Father GOD it's me, I'm not really happy with my prayer life. I would like to get much better at speaking with you. Thanks. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Shalom.
