It's possible to have ear aches due to having the tonsils removed because the throat and ears are connected through the sinuses and the throat is still, somewhat, swollen.
But you could have a blocked ear or an infection going on also. Best thing to do is call your doctor for advice.
He may want to see you to make sure you don't have a hidden infection from the surgery.

Yes, it is actually the place where they removed them at the back of your throat. It is right next to your inner ear so its not really your ear. It will hurt until it heals, eating any crunchy or hard food will irritate the incision area.
