i decided to read my bible more, study my faith more, make it to confession more,be nicer etc.........the season of lent allows us to renew our life with christ and a time to draw closer to him in our daily lives. i feel taking up these things will help me do that. good luck with your soda and swearing and i hope these to in some way draw you closer in your relationship with christ. god bless and keep you.

Well I didn't give up anything. I just adopted another neglected dog, bringing my total to three dogs and three cats and they all need something, grooming, vet visits and lots of love. I guess that makes me a sinner.

I don't give up things for "Lent". I give up things now and again when I realize they are disadvantageous or otherwise bad for me

I am trying to give more: time with the elderly, patience with those who drive me nuts and prayer for those who need it.
