You can't. Anything you put on the wing, regardless how small and light it is, it will off balance the butterfly. It's a very nice of you to want to help it though.

I think you can use Super Glue. The Magic Wings butterfly sanctuary in Deerfield, MA, makes repairs on butterfly wings all the time. You can give them a call for advice. I would leave a phone number. But I was reported last time I did that. Good luck.

I don't think it could be fixed. The birds will gobble it up pretty quick if you leave it out there. Only solution I see would be to capture it and feed it until it molts and goes into hibernation it sheds the wings anyway and becomes a worm again. You might not want to go that far.

You cant because when you touch its wing you rub off the powder on its wing then really cant fly.

They usually fix by themselves , let them be, they are so fragile.
