Well I guess we invented it before we existed, sin is mentioned in the old testament (i.e. before Christ came to earth)...

Do you have a point here? Yes, Jesus is perfect because He did not sin. There is no such thing as "a" sin, it's just sin. Sin is when you do something against God's word, something that He does not want you to do and that He says is wrong and we are not supposed to do.
And the word sin wasn't invented, it was thought up, just like every other word in the world, just like the word "food" was thought up, it wasn't invented....you make no sense to me.
I don't know who invented the word manipulation, but if you are trying to say that we Christians manipulate people, you are highly mistaken.

Let's see Tracy is a name man invented.
Physician is an occupation that man invented.
An envelope is something that man invented.
No matter who invented the word sin, sin is sin. But considering the word sin was used in the Old Testament and Christians didn't come along until the New testament, Christians did not invent the word.

There are 3 categories of sin;
1.mental attitude
2.verbal, sins of the tongue
3.overt sins.
I did not invent sin, but I can be very good at it.
I do not know the origin of the word manipulation.
I have been studying 5th century dramatic Greek and find it fascinating when the original languages are translated from Hebrew and Greek in the Scriptures.
Peace out.

Sin is a word in the old testiment which is an early Jewish document. It is well defined as any activity that seperates you from God. We are all sinners and contrary to popular belief, you do not go to hell for sinning.
Why don't you try reading the Bible, or at least some other book without pictures.

Men wrote the Bible...why?
------------------------------------
Respect for others is declining...why?
Social skills are declining ...why?
Who invented the word temptation?
Consider this...actions take place without words. "Actions speak louder than words". The writers of books of the Bible had this knowledge of this.....how? When a murder is committed someone is dead...prove they aren't. What of the person who committed the act? Who invented the word dangerous along with the word solution and what action takes place to preserve safety and peace?

I have no idea who invented words.Sin is anything that goes against God or your fellow man. To cause harm or heartbreak to another person or their property. These types of sins can be forgiven, the sin of rejecting Christ can not be forgiven.
