Why dont you ASK her. Or ask one of her friends. If it is pink then it is probably candy because drugs dont come in colors when they are in crystal form. Talk to her about not using drugs anyway and throw the candy out. Ask her where she got it and see what she says. Assume it is bad and say "WHERE did you get this?!"

It sounds kind of like strawberry pop rocks, which are a candy. I'd try to ask her though. Watch her carefully. If she seems at all evasive you might want to try a home drug test on the stuff (or her, but that might be harder to accomplish). Also, you could take it and see if she mentions losing it, to see how important it is to her.

Taste a little of it. If it is sweet it is probably candy. If it is nasty its probably drugs. Pink crystal drugs are usually some type of meth. It tastes very bitter. If it was wrapped in a bag or in tinfoil by itself, it is probably drugs.
