Hey! Well, that's a tough one. Have you given him any signals yet? You know the looks, the smiles, the hint-hint thing? See, the thing is that it is really hard to get guys to pick up signals from girls these days, so you have to make it obvious...you have to make sure, when you talk to him to let him know that you are old fashioned (you know hint-hint routine where you mention something casually but it is still obvious) and that's one conversation. Then you should wait till next time you talk and like pick a movie or a restaurant that you want him to take you to and be like: "Yeah, I heard of this place and it seems really cool and I'd really like to go, but none of my girls have time this weekend..." and you should stop there, cos if he won't ask you out after that line, you can just forget about being asked out by him cos you can't make it more obvious than that. I'm afraid that there is no other way and it's going to take time depending on how often and how long you talk. But honestly, these days guys really like girls that will ask them out first cos you know what...life is way too short to play games and you will be able to find out sooner if he really has potential cos there is nothing worse than spending all this energy and time thinking and mesmerizing this one guy and he turns out to be shallow and stupid (while in the mean time you could have met Mr. Right). Plus, if the relationship goes further you can always throw in his face the fact that you asked him out first-gives you leverage! How much greater could it get?

I'm like you. I believe the guy should be the one to ask. Mostly 'cause if a woman puts her feelings on the line, there is a dog out there to take advantage of her.
Be flirty. Talk to him. Unless he is really shy... In that case you may have to give him some time to screw up enough courage to ask you out.
Remember, the more he likes you, the more respect he has for you, the harder it is for him to face being rejected by you.
How do you tell if he likes you? If he pays attention to you. Or if he's really shy, he doesn't even look at you. Or looks away.
Good luck.

Flirt with him by staring at him and smiling, and then coyly looking away after you stare and smile at him. That will let him know you are interested and it is safe for HIM to make the move. If he doesn't, then you take the chance that he isn't interested in you if you ask him yourself. There is nothing wrong with making smalltalk with a guy and asking him to coffee or Jamba Juice or something casual. If he says no, then you have your answer. For those who are old-fashioned, this is a less difficult way to approach trying to get a date with a guy. Good luck.

Just ask him out. He might be too afraid to ask you out. Then time will pass and you both will think that neither of you likes each other, when you both probably do like each other. Might as well take a chance now, it could be your best one

let him no you have feelings for him if he likes you back then ask him if he likes you take things slow though. Love is like a car you go fast you get in an accindent go slow and you have people honking their horns (which is a good thing with love)

Spend more & more time with him as time passes, give him subtle messages (laughing at his jokes, light touches maybe) & hopefully he'll get the message. Besides if you make him feel good around you he'll be wanting to spend more time with you too. We want to be around people who support us & make us feel good!
