Do you prefer guys with long hair like a hippie/rocker/etc. or clean-cut guys that look like missionaries? (I just broke down & had all my long hair cut off, now I'm clean-cut with tattoos (my religious family loves it to death & most of my aquaintances/co-workers are puzzled &/or say "it looks good"-(with a funny look.)

To tell the truth looks do not mean much to me. I look at how a person acts and treats others. Personality is much more important because it tells how beautiful the person in on the inside. Outside looks tend to fade but if a person is beautiful on the inside then he/she usually stays beautiful.

I prefer men with a modern clean cut hair, but not very short. Actually I mean styled by a hairstylist that specializes in men's haircuts. No buzz cuts, baldy cuts..I hate that look. I also hate long hair like the hippie/rocker look. I think it is sloppy, and so messy. So if you got a real shorty hair cut such as a buzz cut or baldy cut, grow it to a length that can be styled by a hairstylist and keep it neat. Then I assure you that your aquaintances and co-workers will look at you differently. Not with a funny look like you indicated.

I like a guy with shorter hair. It could be a buzz cut, or just long enough to make it spikey & messy. But I surely don't like the '90's rocker, hippy look at all.
And I'm sure that people that give you that funny look at first are just getting used to it, it will grow on them - don't worry about it.

Clean cut--even BUZZ cut--is much hotter than long hair!
Unless you are in a heavy metal band, keep it short---and even Metallica are clean cut nowadays!
Long hair on guys is just passe!
Ignore the "funny looks"--they're probably thinking they'd "never see the day" you had short hair, and are in shock.

Whether a guy has long or short doesn't matter ! It's what's under the hair that matters. If people are looking at you funny, it's not that you look bad, it's just that you look different to them!

I think the way a guy wears his hair really depends on the guy and his personality. Most likely, if you are comfortable with your hairstyle, then it'll look good on you and you'll have ladies all over you!

Both! Long hair is awesome if it is taken care of, but short hair shows off the facial features. Both are sexy, so do whatever makes you happy, and tell everyone else to f'off!
