People are ignorant.
I am not racist far from it but it frustrates me to no end that African Americans can sing about crackers but the N word gets bleeped. A white person can be made fun of but as soon as they are black its racism! Just because your ancestors were slaves does not mean we owe you anything. People today never went through the hard ships they're ancestors did and I am not the one that put them through it.
People should not be judged on race but how they act, and if you were to ask me there are alot of ignorant people out there. White.black yellow or red.
People need to understand calling a white person a cracker is just like calling someone the N word. Its just as degrading and hurt full.

they don't. this is called by the left wing propaganda that white people are evil. this has created a double standard. u didn't even say the n word for fear of getting flagged. if someone posted a question that said "whats your favorite reason for hating crackers?" and some one else put the same question only using the n word in place of crackers which do u think is more likely to be banned from this website???????

In Canada the word "cracker" is used for something that is crushed up and put in soup. It's not used as a slur against white people.

Most white people are not offended because they simply do not care, whether insulted or not.
If you do not acknowledge the insult directed at you by simply ignoring it then you will have essentially shut them up. To respond to it will only play into their intention of creating a racial problem and subsequent debate that will follow.
Remember this also, Its only offensive if you care about the person who is saying it. Otherwise its just silly dribble coming from an idiot....and we have politicians to keep us entertained that way already.

Honestly, I would laugh if someone called me a cracker. I really would. It sounds ridiculous. Cracker cracker cracker.

i do, I also take great offense to the word honky being used in my house, but like my SIL thinks its OK to make smart mouth comments about its OK for me to go out in the rain cos my hair will not get messed up.I just treat it all with the same contempt and REMOVE any one who uses those words in my house.

well i will put this quite bluntly, some people think that since we had african americans for slaves many years ago we should be as nice to them as possible, and many african americans love that because they have to do nothing. Also many do not care about white people so they are rude to us.

Words are like turds my friend. If you eat them, you usually regret it, (unless you enjoy eating them?Ewww) But if you take a word (or a turd) thrown at you, and disregard it, you will take alot less offense and your breath will be less offensive.
