Is it easier to cut the urinary cord of your dead buck or cut out a passage through the pelvis and slip it through?

It is easier to cut it. But easier is not better. Cut the buck 's package free from the skin & cut the pelvis . Try to remove the the blater & package in one . So you don't spill urine on the meat.Yes it can be hard you will be working on the large intesten & cutting that free & removing that . Then at the same time working on the urinary cord & blater.

You don't pull all that out with the guts? Only thing left after that is the kidneys.

I cut around it. The "hormonal" smell of buck urine can ruin meat.

Cut it out. Then save it for the following year, you can spray it all over you and some deer might attack you.

Cut. Tie and cut actually. I don't want any deer pee leaking out, even if it is sterile.
