Are you a christian or not? If you aren't, what are you - and why? Also, if you don't know, what would help convince you to become part of a religion? Also, for all non-christians, would you ever be swayed to become a christian? I think you should give christianity a chance - it has renovated my life and made it totally worth living and its made it so full of joy - and im only a young teen - imagine what Jesus will do for the rest of my life =]
also please dont be harsh about this question - im just trying to find out what most people are like, sorta idk, its hard to state what im tryn to do lol
so ya, please dont be mean bout the question - have fun answering =]

Yes, i am a christian. im a pentacostal all the way! i dont understand why you cant love God and why you wouldn't want to be saved. I guess it's because i have been a christian my hole life. I recently a couple of years ago got the holy spirit, which i can speak in other tounges(other languages) When God feels you up with his presence it's so awesome. i love being a christian and i love being in God's presence. I hope this helps. May God Bless You!

Nope, I'm Nondenominational Pagan. Why? Because I've tried a couple different flavors of Christianity, and done a bit of study on other religions, and none of them speak to me of Divinity as Divinity speaks to me of Itself.
I've been told if it's not Christianity, it's a lie from the Devil, and the only reason there's any truth to it is because if it were all a lie it would be blatant... well, that means you SEEK for all the things that point in the direction that is to be gone, and you FIND your path, and the personal relationship with Divinity that is the goal of -all- religions.
I believe Jesus was a wonderful person who had some good teachings, but when he said he was the Son of God, what the Bible authors left out was "...and so are you, and so are you, and so are you..."
I've seen a lot of hypocrisy from so-called "christians" (true Christians, please note use of quotation marks and lack of capitilization) who have seemingly forgotten Jesus's teachings on forgiveness and tolerance, and it's a shame... they should all go back to Sunday School.
If you were to judge by how someone behaves and treats other people, there are many of us NonChristians, who you would never guess didn't follow your own faith if the issue of religion wasn't brought up in conversation.
I'm glad you have found a path that suits you and that you don't seem to be one of these "christians" that are seen too often. Just remember, it's all about your personal relationship with Divinity. (I know, I know, you want to call it God, call it Astrophysics for all I care.) :)
Anyway, hope none of this read harshly, if it did, I did not intend it.

Nope. Christianity seemed like the only thing i could join, because my mom was a heavy believer and i didnt realise that there were others until i was about ten. I tried three different times to join christianity but it didnt agree with me at all. I looked into other religions and so far satanism has come up as a nice choise. Atheism just didnt seem fun enough.

Nope, not a Christian. I'm technically an atheist because I dont believe in God, but I follow the Buddhist way of life.
Because I researched what the Buddha taught and the things he said made perfect sense. I decided to try to follow the Buddhist path and see what happened, and what happened was wonderful. I could never thank that man enough.
I dont think anything could ever sway me to convert to Christianity. As much as I admire Jesus and the way he lived his life, I cant forget all the horrors and atrocities committed by Christians in the name of their god. Plus, I dont believe in God, and I'm pretty sure thats a requirement to be Christian. Not to mention that organized religion frightens me a bit, because its so easy to twist and distort and often ends up with awful bloody messes.
Thank you for asking a respectful question. They seem to be gettin rare in the religion section these days...

I tried Christianity. And the whole time I felt I was at war with my own intellect. It just didn't make sense to me that a "kind, loving" God would punish his children for eternity for simply failing to subscribe to the correct holy book. The more I thought about it, the more God seemed like a violent jealous psycho. And I couldn't go on believing in that, let alone worshiping it. Now I'm a spiritual agnostic with leanings towards Wicca. It makes a lot more sense to me.

I'm non-denominational. That means I have no religion no silly domain taking over my life and what I do. I simply just believe in God and Jesus and attend church whenever I feel like it. Stop trying to get people to sway to become christian too. Not everyone wants the same religion so stop trying to make everyone alike.

I'm a Baha'i because I've seen proof of this religion from both the Bible and Qur'an (Islamic holy book) and ahadith (Islamic written traditions).
I wouldn't be a Christian because I know too much to go back into Christianity. This would be like you becoming a Jew. You know about Jesus, you can't deny him, and neither can you deny the Bible. Sooo, I can't deny Muhammad and the Qur'an, nor can I deny El Bab and the Bayan, nor can I deny Baha'u'llah and his many volumes of scripture under many names (different books).
I love Christianity and Jesus, don't get me wrong, but there are things that I know now and can never unlearn. I mean, it's like when you learn to swim, you never unlearn it. Once you know how to swim, you can swim for life.
God bless you lov', you're innocent and sweet. :^*

I am a very unorthodox Christian. I think Jesus is getting a bad rap for all the stupidity some of his followers do.
and I am glad that you have found meaning in life

I am Agnostic. I was both a Catholic and Protestant Christian. I left the religion because I couldn't take all of the hypocrisy that I saw around me as well as so many contradicitions in the bible. I don't know if I will ever go back.

I'm an atheist.
I was a Catholic for the better part of 2 decades. I couldn't be a Christian again even if I wanted to be. I can't force myself to believe in something I know to be logically impossible (i.e. Yahweh & Jesus).
