She likes this guy and I told her he didn't like her because he told me. I figured she would want to know. I did kinda like him too (just as an alternate to the guy I really like) and he kinda has been flirting with me lately. How do I help her get over him and move on? Is there anything I can do?

Okay, you need to find a guy that does like her and tell her about him and how great he is. So then she will start liking him instead of the other guy.

Hope it works,

Caroline

I'm sorry if this sounds harsh but you sound like a selfish *****. You are trying to get your friend out of the way so you can be with this guy. Come one girl! Friends are more important than some dumb guy that comes along!

"Bros before Hoes" as some dude once said.

Be a friend.

As for the moving on thing for her, go to a party or what not and meet nice guys. Flirt. Talk. The usual. She'll forget him soon enough. DON't MENTION HIM. That's the most important thing to remember!

You help your friend by just being there for her. Listen to her; let her get it all out. You also let her know that she's beautiful and it's his loss, not hers. Most of all, don't date him. I know you didn't mention dating him as an option, but if he is flirting with you, he might try to get with you. Your friend would not take this very well. She might think that you only told her he didn't like her because you wanted him. It has potential to turn into a bad situation. So you might want to steer clear of him as a favor to your friend.

just be a good friend to her, and maybe help her find some other guy that she thinks is cute, but DO NOT go out with this guy or even think of liking him.... more than likely that would ruin your friendship

Try and find another guy for her. Point out some other guys in class and see if she might have an interest in them.
