on lazy days i always pull my hair back in a fast ponytail or bun. my hair is about 2-3 inches below my shoulders fine in texture but on the thick side. wavy sometimes. i need a fast alternative that i can figure out in less than 5 minutes. suggestions?

You can add a touch of sophistication to your ponytail by wearing it low, wrapping a section of your hair around the elastic and securing it with a pin. You can also use a ribbon for a touch of whimsy.
Hair bands are in this season. Plain thin ones are very classic. Or you can use a scarf for a retro '60s look. You can embellish plain ones with hot glue and buttons or beads for a casual or evening look.

same ponytail, but bunch up the rest of your hair and tie it like you would a bun, its ok if strands of hair is sticking out....then pull out some of your bangs (if you have any)...that always works for me
or same ponytail style, only its tied at the nape of your neck, but tie it towards the side of your head, then do a messy bun
