the best way is just go to him and ask him if he would like to go out to lunch or something. and then ask him. you will find out for yourself one way or the other. good luck.

The best way is to confront the boy. I know that it may be humiliating, but it's the best way. I'd hate to ask a guy just to learn that he doesn't.

be kind to him. be one if his close friends. then maybe he'll ask you out. also after you become friends, see if he reacts jealously when you're talking about someone you really like (not) maybe like a celebrity or someone you "just met." :)
if he doesn't show any interest, just ask him. whats the big deal? females can ask males out too.

I'm with Kodak moment. Ask HIM though. Chances are he does. If you don't like him, don't bother. If you do ask him... leave it with him. If you are abrupt it may scare him. Ask him if he is interested and tell him to get back to you if he is.
