I just saw this on Ellen, the other day. Cucumbers do work for puffiness, and tired eyes. However, cool potatoe slices they said would take away the dark circles. I tried it, my daughter said my puffiness was less, but the dark circles were still there. I know that foods cause alot of this condition, I have allergies and they run in our family. All the allergy sufferers, have dark circles. The ones that have chronic sinus problems, had both. That leads me to believe, it has something to do with blood circulation and gravity, yes gravity. I noticed if I slept with my head elevated, and pretty much slept most of the night, face up, my circles and puffiness were less. I slept one night, must have been on my face all night! Huge puffiness, to tell ya the truth, I stayed home from work, I looked like a had two black eyes! I use foundation and concealer to make mine appear lighter, dab a light concealer near the inside corner of the eye, right below the outer eyebrow, this will "open" your eyes. Good luck, be gentle to the skin also, it's delicate stuff.

i know how u feel, i have under eye circles as well but i wear make up sometimes, anyways even before make up i still had. Try putting grated potato on a cheesecloth and press gently. I personally just put cucumbers once a week, i think it makes my skin brighter.

this is normally caused from broken blood vessels. just gently rub in circles under your eyes everyday and that might help. the cold spoons and cucumber things are for puffiness.

you can put two spoons in the freezer and once they get cold put them under your eyes and that should make them go away
