My Husband and I will be relocating within 6 months. Some of his Family live in Lawrenceville so we will start off there. Can anyone give me an idea of what its like there? I've never been out of Cali and am a little nervous about living somewhere else. Does anyone know if Lawrenceville is a decent place to live? How is the crime rate? Any info will help. Thanks! =-)

Lawrenceville is just outside of Atlanta. Its starting to get larger as most towns do these days. I personally dont like Lawrenceville. The crime rate there is about the same as it is in Atlanta. If y'all have no other choice but to live there, I suggest looking around for something else once you do move. You'll see yourself how it is. Its not all that bad, but theres other places close enough to your husbands family that are much better. Check out this link for more info about the town itself.

it's ok rite now im sitting in a classroom in lawrenceville lol!!!!! i dont know about the crime rate but just as with anyplace you move there will be crime... if you are going to downtown lawreceville the area is a lil bad but outside of that the area is really nice and quiet

There's a good sushi place there, but I don't recall where. They have a decent junior hockey team, too, but not as good as Alaska's.
