Bladder infections are common.

You feel the need to urinate a lot. No pain, not an emergency.

The doctor may advise you just to drink cranberry juice.

with pain killers and antibiotics it should only last a few days.yes you also get pains in your stomach as well as when you pee.some doctors will give you an appointment the same day as other s will not depends on the doctor.and no a family member can not go to the doctors for you. its a liability clause. and I'm sure a sample of pee will be taken to determine if the cause of your symptoms are that of a bladder infection.

good luck!

From my own experience
Usually you get weak and relay tired , like having no energy at all.
it is not that urgent and the doctors would not class it as an emergency unless it has gone for really long time and your condition is worse .
Firstly the doctor will give you a bottle to check your wee.
Your wee would be really dark , so you can check it yourself before even going to doctors.

Antibiotic shall clear it in a few days .

First, yes you can get pain under the stomach, because my back, side and stomach hurt. Second, it depends on the doctor most will try to get you in same day if you are in a lot of pain. Third, you need to go to the doctor so that they can do a urinalysis to check your urine and see what the problem is, especially if this is your first bladder infection.

well my dear , if you have some pain going on get checked by the Doctor first of all! I dont think you can have anyone go in for you , maybe with you. Also drink enough fluids and cranberry juice can help too. Otherwise their's stuff in the pharmacy like Uristat. Ask the pharmist. And you can take Ibuprofine along with some things for pain.

bladder infection is as same as urinary infection...well yea its very painful in the lower abdomen and usually wen everytime u pee u can feel a burning sensation..if it is already infected..pain killer is not really effective..u need anti biotic...it wil last for 5-7days...pain killer is to relieve the pain and not the infection...if it is too painful u can go to emergency room...the doctor wont allow u to delay it..and YES they need to examine ur urine for infection and usually it includes pregnancy test to determine if ur pregnant or not..they wont allow ur relatives to get ur anti biotic widout seein u first....yea they can provide u a bottle that is if u cant pee that tym...but wen u pee u need to take it to laboratory within 30mins after u pee or it will get spoiled........and lastly bladder/urinary infection is due to several factors it can be because of sex, less drink of water, drinkin too much sodas, holding ur urge too pee for a long tym and due to douche...
