I'm an excellent cook I cook mostly Jamacian and Hispanic dishes from the Caribbean. I mean't I can make some delicious jerk chicken and tamales. I even might cook some Fried Green Tomatoes or some Seafood Gumbo. Every guy I've dated seemed to like when I do all the cooking. Is this quote true? Do most men fall in love with someone who is a great cook?

Well yes and no, I mean a guy won't just love you because you are an excellent cook, although knowing how to cook can definitely improve your chances. I think this quote goes a little deeper, it doesn't necessarily mean that if you can cook well then a man will fall in love with you because you now how to cook well. What I think it means is that if you can cook, you can take care of your man for example, feed him. If you did not know how to cook and like a lot of guys out there, he doesn't know how to cook, then I think you two would be eating a lot of Top Ramen.

By the way, you made me hungry.

Being an excellent cook will no doubt give you an advantage over those who can not cook but I dont know that I'd go as far to say being a great cook would make a man fall in love with you.

Personally I would rather have a women who is excellent in the bedroom rather than the kitchen ( if i had to choose )

Well, let's see. My husband loves me very much and HE does all the cooking because I don't like to. His ex-mother in law is a phenomenal cook - but he didnt' fall in love with and marry her.

I say "No" the quote is not true. It's not any more true than the quote "Nice guys finish last."

That sounds like the title of the next big Fall Out Boy / Panic! At the Disco song; haha. Sorry if that offended you at all.

Seriously, the only thing that really matters to me when I'm looking for a girl, is if she likes me just for being me. Everything else after that is just a bonus, be it looks or turn-ons or cooking. It's all appreciated, but none of it is necessary...at least in my opinion.

I was always told that the fastest way to a man's heart is through the chest with a sharp knife; of course I'm sure stomach is close. Yeah, men love that Betty Crocker thing. They like to be taken care of, but most importantly, they like to eat.

Men may not admit it but they do look for someone who can be a good wife and mother... that is for the long run.. My husband loves it when i can cook for him and his friends on gamming nights. But then I just love being domestic.

A man who has wisdom knows that sexual attractiveness is passing, but a good cook is always a good cook!

Feed me, baby, and I'm yours!
