Yes! I had a daughter that did the same thing. at first it drove me nuts, but then i decided it wasnt life threatning and gave up the fight. later i learned from her pediatrian that coming home and putting on the same outfit was a comfort to her. it represented security and stability. i am now glad that i didnt make a major issue of it. she grew out of that phase about 6 months later. good luck

My daughter wore the same clothes so often that they got so dirty they will never look clean again -- no matter how much I wash them or bleach them.
Of course, you should try to get her to wear something else -- I still try to get my daughter to wear jeans even though she would prefer skirts or dresses -- but as an alternative suggestion. There are so many bigger battles to fight, clothes aren't worth your time or energy.
Of course, that shouldn't stop you from trying to slip them into the wash!!! ;-)

Its fine my daughter puts on my heels and clothes everyday after school, each kid has there own style and way, you have to let them be an individual because if you dont they will start wanting to be like other people and become a follower instead of a leader.

lay out another similar outfit and tell her specifically how pretty she looks with the pretty red shirt because her rosey cheeks come out, or how the turquois shirt makes her blue eyes really sparkle like diamonds. Or, That she looks like a princess when she wears..... If she still insists- say nothing and take her shopping for something she likes- it may be a texture thing.

Yep. Wash them over night and dry them while she is at school if you can.
It's not a huge problem in the long run.
I know I had favourite things when I was little, and I didn't want them taken off me. It's a sign of emotional security.

This is perfectly normal! Most kids become attached to something when they are little, and in your daughter's case, it's the outfit. When she gets older, she will probably stop this behavior, so you have nothing to worry about!

Yes. Pick your battles--and this shouldn't be one of them. This is a very harmless way to let her have some control over her life; save your battles for the really important things.

Sure. Make sure they are washed so she is clean. If they are not grungy and disgusting, and they make her comfortable I see no problem with it.
Kids have phases.

What does it matter? Don't sweat the small stuff, there will be plenty to worry about soon enough.
