you need to sit him down tell him that you don;t love him if you don't and just say hey I don;t feel the same way about you but I still want to be friends with you but I don;t think this relationship is working out for me

The key is to make it clear. If you waffle or focus on why "you still love him but...", then he is going to think that he still has a chance. You don't necessarily even have to give him a concrete reason for why you don't want to be with him. Just tell him that you are no longer interested in him like that and/or that your relationship does not work for you.
I also HIGHLY recommend that you ex-communicate after. By that, I mean, don't call him, IM him, email him, etc. Try to avoid him, because otherwise, he is just going to string himself along. It will also help him get over you, and avoid a long break up or a situation where he thinks he can win you back. You cannot remain friends; he'll get jealous as soon as you talk to another guy.

just be straight forward with him, Tell him it didn't work out for you, I know it can be hard to do this, but it's the best way! You will break his heart, but obviously you are not the one for him, cause' if you were you wouldn't break up with him! if I were you I would just tell him and say sorry, I'll tell him that I am not the one for you and I can't do this anymore because if you wait any longer he'll be even more in love with you and he will definitely hate you and won't trust a girl ever again!!!!

Omigawsh. has this relationship lasted longer than a month to two months? Well, if its shorter, just say that you aint feelin the chemistry, and I would test his love, you never know, he could be just trying to get into your pants.
And why u brakin up with him?

Well thats a hard question OK I've been through this n i know how it feels but u need to let him know b4 u or him get hurt.

girl! i dont know!! i was in that situation!!! but it made it worse.... he said he'll kick the boy i go out with next if he finds out. just try to explain the reason why you are gonna brake up with him.

just tell him the truth and be gentle about it. im pretty sure he wouldnt want you to stick around even if you didnt feel the same way about him.
