Ok, so my problem is this. I received a ticket for my Inspection Sticker being expired. My car is registered and my Permanent address is in Williamson County. I got the ticket in Tom Green County. I was told that I could not be issued a ticket regarding inspection stickers in a county that I did not live/was registered in. I can't find anything backing this up nor denying it.

Does anyone know for sure whether or not you can be issued a ticket out of residential/registered County?

You can be cited in any county or State, if you have an expired inspection sticker. I got one in Ohio, even though I was residing, licensed and the vehicle was registered in Pennsylvania. Just pay the fine and have the car inspected in your own County.

you can get an inspection ticket anywhere in texas if it's expired.
But almost evertime you can get it cancelled if you just take the judge proof that you now have it inspected.
