Boys, regardless of age, tend to tease the girls they like....it is somewhat pathetic but still kind of cute. If he has smiled a couple of times but nothing else, then he's probably not too interested, just friendly. If they seem to run into you often, make excuses to talk to you or ask you questions or you catch them looking at you all the time, then they probably are.

Don't ask him that will probably scare him off and don't tell him either becuz guys usually take advantage of girls that like them if they don't like you back.Don't ask ur friend to ask him becuz he might think that she likes him and might end up asking her out. It's weird but a guy can find you attractive but not be attracted to you and if you tell him that you like him and he doesn't like you if he's a jerk he will pretend to like you just to see how far he can get with you. Sorry don't mean to sound like a head case but if you want to know if he likes you just pay attention to the little things he does (smiling, touching you a certain way, making fun of you but not in a mean way, etc.)

let it play out for a little while and see what happens. If he seems into you and you don't know for sure after a couple weeks, tell him what you think

see if he smiles at you in the hall, sit with him at lunch, talk to him, if he ever stuters or looks around for his friends to say anything it means he likes you and don't want you to hate him or you have bad BO lol
