There's no comparison. Australia is the place to plan for, and Sydney is the best City.

Full of life, clean beaches, friendly people, multi cultural, cheaper and sunshine. Plenty of young active positive people.

There are good shops ... but NYC wins here, but only because Australians are having such a good time on the beach ... nothing much required here for summer clothes .... but the fashion is good.

It's also a great place to study, with the Government providing visas for students to work 20 hours per week to pay for study and living !!

Also they need more Venezuelans .... so go on down and join the party :)

One of the best places on the planet.

I would defnitely choose New York City for a couple of reasons. New York City has the best shopping streets in the world and always is exciting. Also, in New York City there are a lot of teen clubs where you can meet new people and make connections (I know because I have been there). I would not recommend going to Austrailia for a number of reasons. Austrailia is a great place to visit, if you are 40+! It has mant good sites to see, but for a 15 year old girl from Venezula, New York City is the way to go. Austrailia isn't as exciting as New York City and I don't think that there are any teen clubs there. There are a lot of inexpensive hotels there so you could afford it too. I hope you have a great time wherever you go!

Do a student exchange in a small town near a beach and you will have a fantastic time.
Australia is very friendly and multicultural. You'll find nice beaches, lots of shopping everywhere you go and lots of outdoor sports.
