I've been on wellburtin xl 150mg for 3-4weeks and a couple days ago dr. recommended me taken two a day so thats 300mg a day..My doctor gave me free samples when I started takin them and now i have to buy more meds because tonight I am taking the last one.. It will cost me $150 for the pills because I have no insurance.. I can't afford that so tomorrow I'm talkin to my doctor about switching to a medication that has to do more with anxiety than depresson..And somethin not so expensive.. If i get off of wellburtin to switch to a different one what will happen?? Do I have to be off of the meds for so long and then start taking the other brand?? I have no idea.. Please Help..

Your Dr. is the best person to ask about switching quickly if you can't ask him for some samples of the Wellbutrin to get you by until you get your new one. Effexor works great for me but luckily I have insurance and only have small co-pay.If you only have anxiety he may switch you to a anti-anxiety drug of which all are very addicting, believe me I've been there. For myself I take the Effexor and a very small dose of Xanax only if needed. Most Dr.'s would put you on both as the anti-depressant gets in your system slowly and helps before you know it. 3-4 weeks as you have said is barely enough time to work. I'm sure your Dr. isn't going to let you be without something for any length of time. I don't know where you live but can you get state aid for your medical? I hope all goes well for you

it rather is a huge question! i'm conversing from my very own reports right here...... i replaced into clinically determined with bi-polar variety 2(there are 4 varieties) affliction a pair of year and a a million/2 in the past and replaced into placed on 2 drugs. One to handle the melancholy end and directly to handle the temper affliction on the different end. For me in my view, i began seeing a therapist( a qualified medical Social worker) first for variety of six months and went to a psychiatrist on her advice. After being on medicine for the previous year i'm like a distinctive guy or woman. I even have run out of the medicine two times because of the fact of having to reserve it by skill of mail and that i'm like a distinctive guy or woman while no longer taking medicine. now and back people don't comprehend how undesirable issues are till they take medicine and experience greater advantageous. I even have regarded back on my existence and have found out that I even have on no account been this happy (i'm 33 years old) i don't experience "drugged out" or "spacey" the two. I basically experience balanced now. i'm on Zoloft and Depakote ER. I even have taken Prozac and it could reason weight benefit and could properly be extremely stressful to return off of. Zoloft works appropriate for me. in case you're thinking your self remember to confirm a therapist and genuinely see a psychiatrist no longer basically a kinfolk well being practitioner. desire this enables!

Wellbutrin is available in generic so call your pharmacist and ask what the generic price is for it. Also all meds of this nature tend to be expensive unless you use generic.
