Ok so my girlfriend is awesome and has a job but sometimes she doesn't have money to do stuff. So naturally i volunteer to pay for her but she doesn't want me to pay for her. Its weird. Like she says she feels like a bum when other people pay for her but i told her i like to pay for her because i like her. i dunno. I really need some help because we like doing things together but we are restricted because she doesnt want me to pay for her.

a dude should always pay for a girl. like if YOU take her out YOU pay since YOU took her out. & tell her that & also try telling her that it's u'r treat but don't use that offten.

Buy things ahead of time so she doesn't have a choice or let her pay the tip at the restaurant or pay for her own movie ticket, etc. Let her make you dinner instead of dinner out and then you take her to dinner next time.

Let her know that you paying doesn't mean she's giving up independance but you love to do things for her. Also offer to do things that don't cost money. Check for free events in your local area.

She probably just doesn't want you to feel like she's leeching off of you. She really is just trying to be nice. You'll have to find something cheap to do with her, or buy her gift cards to places as presents.

the trick is getting the check first, beating her first to a ticket booth, basically paving it for her before hand so she doesn't has time to react and reach into her pocket, purse or where ever she stores her currency.
