I doubt it because there is a motivating factor for non-Theist ones, but having read the Spitzer study, I am skeptical that there is a possibility for SOME individuals to change. Most sexuality experts agree that sexuality fluctuates and there have been very few but real cases of real bisexual people that end up strictly straight or gay. Also, a lot of teens "experiment" with their sexuality.
I don't mean to be an asshole, but many in the gay community put out propaganda about homosexuality. I remember I read a Stanford account from a transsexual professor saying that according to Darwinian evolution homosexuals and transsexuals are normal. Sorry, but that is just plain propaganda, misunderstanding of the theory and self-deception.
I have nothing against gays. I'm totally okay with gays marrying and what not. I could care less. I simply think there needs to be an honest debate about the issue instead of emotional one; same goes for both the abortion and anti-abortion people lying.

I'm an EX-Christian, who's not straight, does that count?. ;-)
There is no such thing as a Ex-Gay. You can change your religion, you cannot change your sexual orientation any more than you can change your race. I suspect that many of the so-called Ex-gays are actually bisexual to be begin with and just choose to be with the opposite sex or they are just seriously closeted out of fear of burning in hell.

how is it possible to be ex-gay? i cant imagine being ex-straight and turning gay. i think just like the way its repellent for straight people to have such relations with the same sex its repellent for gays for them to have any with the opposite.....i dont know how something like that could change suddenly

I am not x gay or gay I have seen the power of God change and deliver ppl from the gay lifestyle. However there is a scripture in the gospels that says that this kind comes not out but by prayer and FASTING. And I stongly believe that this gay spirit is one of those spirit's that does not come out unless there it prayer and FASTING.
I hope this helps

You can take the gay from the church, but you can't take the church from the gay...no, hang on...You can take the church from the gay, but you can't take the gay from the church....no, that's not it either. You can take the gay from the gay.....no, that's definitely not right. Oh, crap, I give up.

Probably some guys & gals will say: Yeah, but I repented now. They'll make up some stories and make it look so real, they're brilliant at this!

I certainly wouldn't let MY daughter marry someone who claims to be a "reformed" homosexual...would YOU? They're lying to themselves if they say they are, or more LIKELY, they still know they are, and are lying to their judgmental religious family and friends.
