haha I think it's mainly a college thing, where you meet someone at the bar, go home with them & sleep over, and the next day you have to walk home in your 'bar outfit' from the night before...and the people on campus see you and laugh cause they know you were 'naughty'....I made that walk a few times! ha

The walk of shame refers to any phenomenon in which a person has to take a walk in front of strangers or peers for an embarrassing reason before reaching a place of privacy away from judging eyes
