Unless your coughing up fur balls don't worry about it. You can't catch any "colds" from a cat.

Almost impossible for your cat to transfer a sore throat to you. You might have allergies with cats, and since all cats shed-- the hair must have made your throat scratchy. Anyways, try keeping your cat away from your face and it won't happen again if that's the case. Feel better!

Yes, you can 'catch a cold' from your cat. If you have had a sore throat for three weeks, why haven't you gone to see a doctor? You could have 'strep' or you could have caught mononucleosis somewhere else and your cat 'coughing in your face' was simply a 'coincidence' ... SEE A DOCTOR!
