tell your parents that it will build a sense of responsibility if you must care for an animal of your own and it is a strong anti depressent and anti drug to own an animal. If they STILL refuse, wait until you have your own place as an adult and get your own.

Accept it is my first thought. Small pups really aren't good at being left alone (no pups are, actually), so unless you're ready to spend most of your day with it and be financially responsible for it (which can add up to A LOT) then it sounds like you're out of luck (at least for the time being).
Is there any kind of dog your parents WOULD go for? (i.e. a lab or golden retreiver?) What about working/volunteering at a local shelter to get your dog fix? Maybe a part-time job at the local pet store to help show that you're responsible (and making money to pay for the dog)? (Not sure if you're old enough to work.)
What are your parents' biggest objections? (In other words, why don't they want the dog?) Is there a way of compromising or overcoming those objections? What about pet sitting or dog walking or working in a doggie daycare? What about fostering a dog (so that it's not a permanent commitment but you still get the joy of loving, helping and having a dog in your home)?
Just some ideas. Best wishes. Small dogs require a lot of care so it may be a little while until you get one, but that doesn't mean that you can't dream of it, plan for it and find something to turn that desire in to until then. Good luck! (p.s. Lots of middle and high-school students are involved in pet rescue and do some pretty amazing things. I bet you could search for stories on the web to find out how to get involved.)

A shiz tzu is a high maintance dog. I am a dog groomer and it takes more brushing to keep a shiz tzu than for most small breeds. So Try to prove to your parents that you can take care of it.

just talk to your parents and explain to them how you fell. Tell them all the advantages and that they are indeed a great dog. Also if you can try to compromise. Like if you let me get this dog ill wash you're car for a year or something like that.

I would show your parents what great responsibility you have, that way they'll think you'll take care of it properly-- and they won't have to. Besides, try buying some pet stuff, and they might be convinced, who knows.

go to your local shelter and show them how many are homeless and need a good home!
Or volunteer at one and show your parent how responsible you can be!

THEY PROBABLY THINK YOURE NOT READY FOR THE RESPONSIBILITY. WAT YOU CAN DO IS SHOW YOU ARE BY HELPING OUT MORE AROUND THE HOUSE WITHOUT BEING ASKED TO. IF YOU GET ALLOWENCE SHOW THEM THAT YOU CAN MANAGE YOUR MONEY EASILY
