I guess what I want a confirmation of is that they should come in a week, but not more than 3 is that correct?

You should have your refund direct-deposited into your account by 3/9. You have to give it about 2 weeks (10 business days).

If the IRS sent a Direct Deposit on Feb 23 (last Fri) and your bank has not credited your account by Mon, Feb 26, something is wrong. Check the IRS 'Where's My Refund?' link again to see if there was a delay on there end. Next, double check the bank routing number and your account number on your tax return. You may want to take a copy of the forms to the bank and have them verify the numbers. If you haven't found the issue by now, ask the bank to research the deposit. They may have rejected the deposit for some reason.

Once your bank receives an electronic deposit, which should happen no more that the next business day after it is submitted, they are required by law to make the funds available the same business day.
