tanning is dumb and it makes you look old and leathery... your tan friends will be jealous of you and your young looking complexion in a few years. Don't ruin your skin!

I am pale skinned, redheaded, green eyes. I have been told by two dermatologists that it is safer for me to tan than to burn. If I am driving with windows open or closed for more than 10minutes here in Orlando, I will burn on my arm. So I use to go to tanning beds (at least in the summer when I know I am going to be outdoors alot) otherwise I buy "tan in the can" you know the self tanners they sell over the counter and that stuff looks pretty natural if you put it on correctly!

I have auburn/redish hair and i have light skin, and honey, i've never had any problems with my light skin getting in the way of meeting or dating guys! I'm positive they dont look down on it. It takes some effort for me to tan, but eventually it happens. just lay out, and use a tanning oil. you'll may burn, but it'll turn into a tan if your skin is anything like mine.

Try using a lotion that has a bronzer in it. I have a friend who is very fair-skinned and she tried using it, and it worked really well for her. You just apply it in the morning or at night, both if you want, and the more you use it you skin gets a little tan tint to it.

I also have your problem, im have very fair skin and burn easily, so instead of risking burning, i use Johnsons Holiday Skin to get a nice glowing tan.

Do you want your skin to look like a raisin when you are older? Avoid tanning and use sun block anytime you're in the sun. I'd like you for what's on the inside, not the outside.

Go to any tanning store and get a spray on tan. Its 25$ but it's totally worth it. I am fair skinned to, and I got one and it looked completely natural. They are great, also lots of movie stars have one. it rocks

They make a spray that tans the skin artificially. Many tan salons offer to apply it as it looks funny if you apply it in patches.

get a tanning membership and the first 3 times you go, only lay for 10 minutes. go twice a week- once if you get burned. then bump it up to 12 minutes for a couple sessions. once you start getting tan you'll be able to lay longer.

I'm blonde and fair-skinned with freckles. I have never tanned and don't want to because it is ageing and possibly the start of skin cancer. I have never lacked attention from boys/men! Love yourself.
