Based on your other post about your dog losing its teeth at just 3 years old...my guess is that your dog is suffering from bad oral hygiene. You need to get her teeth cleaned by the vet.

Also, the second leading contributor to bad breath (other than bad teeth) is bad nutrition. Make sure you are feeding a good quality dog food--make sure its a food that is labeled as "complete nutrition/balanced nutrition".

Same reasons as humans. Poor hygene
Doggie needs dry food to help keep teeth clean and brushing would help also.
Water will help too.Keeps mouth hydrated and helps with bad breath. Just like humans need to drink a lot of water.
You misinterpet the old wives tale. They have a tounge that has the ability to help clean. Thats why they say a dogs mouth is cleaner

Because they lick their butts & everything else and they don't brush their teeth. Take a look at your dogs teeth, especially the ones in the back, they may need to be cleaned by the vet.

pretty much for the same reason as humans(poor dental hygiene) its a little known fact but you can get tooth brushes and paste for your pet just the same as you can for yourself, consult your veterinary surgery for details,if you find this impossible to brush your pets teeth then try things such as dentarasks which are designed to clesan the dogs teeth as they are chewed.
good luck.

I guess they need to learn how to brush and floss daily. Mouthwash and mints might work!!!!
