A honey color with amber brown and the accent color should be a darker brown. a Honey color is not yellow its the warmest color on the palett. Remember there are places to go online to see it on a wall.
But the most important is that you must be comfortable with the color

Since it's a basement, I'd use a very light, bright turquoise and bring in warmth with cherry red and bright white accessories. Basements are usually dark and dull places. Lighten and brighten it up!

A warm color is a shade of pink or purple. Brown is not uplifting or warm. Beige is too non-descript.
