Would God disapprove of a professional mixed martial arts career?

Negatives
There is some violence in it.
People can become seriously injured in worst case.

Positives:
People in martial arts have more career options
People enter because they want to they are free to choose
There is a chance to make decent money
It promotes martial arts which most people see as a good thing
It provides alot of entertainment
It is an opportunity to take a Christian attitude to the sport

I'm kind of torn whether it is right field to enter or if it is against God's will.

I say go for it. It's becoming very popular. It's safer than boxing (proven) and - I like the idea of bringing a Christian attitude to the sport.

I watch it all of the time.

I practice MMA for fun & exercise, but isn't it bad for your body in the long run to get beat up professionally?

I know a pastor that teaches Tai Kwan Do. A person can learn it, and not believe in the spiritual part of it.
