Disregard what everyone is saying regarding beatings or spankings. Punishing physical behavior with physical punishment only teaches the child that being stronger is more important than being right. I think the Supernanny/Nanny 911 suggestions are good. They don't lay a hand on anyone in those shows, but they get results.

You can start by being the adult. You need to get control of your house again. He is only 4 and he's bossing you around. He needs to be spanked good and hard a couple times so he knows you mean business. Once you've made it clear you're in control, start by putting him in time-out for 10 or 15 minutes. If he hits, kicks, screams, tries to get out, paddle his butt.

There really is no excuse for him to be behaving that way.

Give him a good beating, Im serious.
He needs it and it might do him some good to know you ARE THE BOSS...not him.
I have a friend who did to his 10 year old and the kid listens WAY better than before and actually respects him for it.
***** CPS they dont know anything, I dont mean beat him up, but take him, pull his pants down and beat his ***.
Your the mom and unless you want this to continue, do it.
Imagine what he will be like at 7, 10 and 15...he will be one those kids who smokes weed and skips school and does nothing around the house.

Chain him up in the basement, feed & water him regularly, give him TV with only: PBS, discovery and the learning channel. Let him loose on society when he is about 20.
