I am looking for some really good ski gloves. My son has some but his hands still get cold. Where are the best sporting goods store? The ones he has now are Gordini-Dri Max waterproof. These do not keep the hands warm.

find gloves that are made of gore-tex, its a great insulation material. reusch gloves are a very nice brand of gloves that i would recommend.

reliable racing is an awesome online store, they have a catalog as well.

Some good ski glove makes are Phoenix, Salomon, Spyer, Gordini, Dakine and Level. All gloves by these makes will be waterproof and keep your hands warm.

truthfully i got some gloves from costco pretty cheap and then i buy those hand warming packet things. the gloves i bought have a specific pouch in them to put the hand warmers. but depending on how much ur willing to spend u can buy really good gloves at a ski resort but they're not cheap, probably cheapest would be $40. try a specialty ski or snowboard shop in the area, maybe a local sporting good place like sports authority or sport chalet.

One of the best overall ski gloves is made by Grandoe. Most specialty ski shops carry them as well as ***** Sporting goods stores. Also consider wearing a light weight ( very thin) liner inside the gloves.

I don't know much about gloves, but I have Scott gloves that keep the hands relatively warm. I also use hand warmers, which really help, even if they are just sitting in the glove.

The best thing for warmth would be mittens. They really keep fingers warm, which is where I feel my gloves start to fail after a while.

there are mittens on backcountry.com from a company Black Diamond. My sister just got them because she said that her hands were getting cold with the gloves she had, and now we don't hear any more complaining. She says that her hands are really warm now.

Hope this helps!!

Another vote for Grandoe gloves. they make several models with zip in liners that can be swapped out if they become wet. the warmest thing is mittens nothing else works.
