"Garbage in, garbage out." is my maxim...
The one theory is that your skin dispels/shows the toxins that your body is trying to get rid of. So for example if you have a huge hamburger every day, your body is digesting the nutrients (or lack thereof), and when the toxins can't go anywhere else, they come out through your skin in the form of pimples or other bad things for your skin. Also, junk food doesn't have a lot of good nutrients like omega-3 fatty acids to help your skin, hair and nails grow to be healthy and shiny, and your skin therefore, suffers a deficiency in vitamins and nutrients to keep clear and healthy.
The other theory is that the food does nothing for your skin directly, but that if you were to eat a hamburger or fries, then touch the grease to your face, and forget you were doing so, then it builds up on your skin and clogs all of your pores.

Eating junk food doesnt cause acne or anything of that nature. The only way it can is if oil from some junk food [fried things, chips, etc] is left on teh skin unwashed for a period of time. But one shouldnt eat too many sweets, so remember to eat junk stuff in moderation. But it is ok to pig out every once in a while =]

Well the junk food and chocolate thing is a myth. but if your diet consit of extreme unhealthly eating of course it will have a major affect on your body and change alot of things and hormones therefore it is possible that you can break out if you are treating your body badly. If you are concerned with your skin stick to a good schedule.. cleanse...everyday and exfoliate twice a week and moisturize everyday . This should be done twice a day especially at night since thats when your body does most of its work .... soooo go enjoy those cheetos and candy bars.

Ever wonder how people who don't eat healthy have dullish skin (that has to do with smoking as well), a little pimply, get blemishes, etc...Ever wonder how people who do eat healthy usually tend to have more "radiant" skin, more blemish free, are more active....You are what you eat, as they say.....
