i really truely do like flowers. i think that they are beutiful. but i dont want to be looked down on for doing something that i really enjoy.

A man is always a man when he is not afraid to be who he truly is. Thus if you would like to be a florist then do it...only a man would pursue his true desire. My brother is a chef...when he was small and had a Holly Hobbie Oven and made little cakes and cookies...they said that's for girls...he is now a great chef and makes buuko bucks...he does what he has always loved, is great at it, makes plenty money, and lives high off the hog...so go florist!

Yes it is okay....just be aware that if there is a woman interested in that comes in to buy flowers from you, she might assume that you're gay because you're a florist so you'll have to put in some effort to show her otherwise

Of course it is! My uncle was a florist and there was nothing "girly" about him. It's hard work, especially if you are in the wholesale flower business, and muscles can come in handy.
Go for it! Do what you love and love what you do!

It perfectly okay!! My florist is my hubby =o) also if your afraid to be in a floral shoppe maybe landscaping could be your other choice..

If you work with flowers, you'll also need to learn about plants, about how to plant them, etc. So, no, it's not girly at all. And your girlfriend will be happy when you bring her flowers!!!
