The first thing you always notice is looks... but there have been times that I have dated guys that would not have been my first choice because they weren't that cute... but I dated them because of the way they treated me. I think that's the most important...

Most people will probably say personality, but in the REAL world, everyone is looking for looks when you are a teenager. It's not until the late 20's until you start realizing that personality counts too.

I have seen an average looking man become irresistable right before my very eyes because they have a great personality....and a drop-dead gorgous man turn almost repulsive as soon as they open their mouth! Personality is more important then looks but I feel there has to be some sort of sexual attraction or it's just friendship.

I think we first look and if we like then that's when you really get to know a person..but in some cases you never look but you end up falling for their personality by accident. I think it just depends on the girl

I go for both. You really can't have one without the other. Most people want someone who is physically attractive but at the same time they don't want to be bored because the person has no personality

I gotta agree mostly personality for me. I've dated several guys that I did not find especially attractive. In fact I've never dated a guy I found drop dead hot b/c I've never liked their personality.
Men are more visual creatures--they are more turned on by a picture than women are. Women are more turned on by touch.
A gorgeous guy may make nice eye candy but I like to bum. I often don't wear makeup and I sometimes will run next door to the grocery store in sweatpants. and I dont want every girl to be saying "How did she get him?"
I want a guy who treats me like I deserve to be treated, who laughs at the same things I laugh at. Who understands I have some snobbish tendencies (I like wine tasting, I want to own a boat and a house on the lake, I want to travel the world) but that I don't care to only shop on 5th avenue (I bargain shop and don't mind carrying a knockoff Prada), I like camping and being lazy on Sundays. I enjoy playing with my puppy at the beach. And all those are personality--looks don't meet expectations. Looks don't lead to love.

ok well i like both but looks can always fade and if you have a crappy personality then you always will... it wouldnt matter if you have the hottest body because i mean yes we like to look but when you grow old your looks will most likely fade and what would they have to fall back on... nothing if they are just looks... you should get the well rounded full package... good looks (open to your own taste)... great personality... smart... and anything else you look for... because none of us are going to live forever and we all change and grow older... outter beauty is only skin deep... inner beauty enhances outter beauty and do not fade... i hope i was helpful... have a good day...

When u first meet/see someone you mainly go by looks but after a few exchange of words you will eventually go for personality

At first, yeah it's usually the looks. Unless I've heard him talking before and know his personality. But when I do find out what his personality's like, I only will go for him if I like him alot. It's like 80% personality and 20% looks.
Or.....usually if I like a guys personality ALOT, but he's butt ugly, it doesnt matter cuz in my eyes, he's perfect :)
