My doc sold us a bottle of bubble gum colored viscous liquid that smells like peppermint as she licks it off of her molars. She loves that stuff. So do I. Sweet peppermint, thank God. Ask your vet.

Toothbrushes and toothpaste is available, and dogs love the taste. I think the premise is the same as the expensive bubblegum/peppermint prescription. The dog salivates as the concoction oxidizes plaque.

Dogs who salivate by chewing have better breath. Dogs who chew meat and bones clean their teeth. Dogs can eat raw bones. They don't splinter into death shards like cooked or dried bones do. Kibble is an abundance of toxic fast food. Do you eat at Burger King twice a day? Higher end kibble is still fast food. Real food is purchased where you buy yours. Dogs ate real food fifty years ago. Commercial pet food companies have brainwashed the past two to generations to accept the fallacy that dried dog food is the way to go. Not if you love your fuzzball. Your fuzzball should eat normal foods, like the carnivore it is. McDonald's twice a day? Your choice.

Some dogs just naturally have yellow teeth and other tooth issues regardless what they are fed. Several breeds are very prone to tooth issues and tooth issues and discoloration is often inherited as well.

Bad breath isn't necassarily from what a dog eats..it can be a sign of a medical issue. I would suggest getting your dog in to the vet for a complete exam.

Contrary to popular belief dry food does NOT prevent tooth issues, not does wet food promote tooth issues.

They need to eat mints and grasses to clear their bad breath. Everything has yellow teeth naturally. To get them to be non-yellow, you have to do something unnatural, such as brushing their teeth, or feeding them specially formulated dog chews or dog snacks that clean their teeth.

particular, rawhide bones may well be risky because of fact they may well be swallowed in great products and reason blockages or abdomen upsets. because of fact rawhide bones are in many circumstances an entire piece of twisted or knotted hide, a canines can chew till the hide is softened after which swallow it in one long piece it extremely is risky because of fact it ought to reason blockages because of rather indigestible nature of rawhide... it takes an prolonged time to be digested in great products and canines have an extremely rapid metabolism.. so it strikes too rapid from the tummy to the gut collectively as nevertheless in particular indigested to that end causeing discomfort, blockage, diarrhea, abdomen upset or maybe vomiting and nausea. It nevertheless puzzles me why they even sell any such damaging sort of chew for canines as my vet has reported me that rawhide is the #a million reason in the back of blockages in canines and reccommended i do no longer feed it to my canines. be particular to maintain a watch on your canines and notice if she has a typical bowel pass and if she shows and lethargy, loss of urge for food or looks in discomfort you may take her on your vet. interior the destiny i might reccommend chews that are much less unsafe collectively with smoked organic bones, Wowser crammed marrow bones and chew toys collectively with Nylabones, or Kong... all of those chews are safer than rawhide, the organic bones do no longer splinter and characteristic real meat on them, the crammed marrow bones cnat extremely be chewed up and can be refilled with a filling of your selection, and the two the kong and nylabone inedible toys can not be eaten in great products by your canines no rely how no longer undemanding they attempt.
