I am the type of guy who is veryyy quiet, i have a veryy hard time starting conversations and get really shy when talking to girls i want to get to know...whenever most girls talk to me i dont know what to say so i never have a good conversation with girls even though i really want to talk to them. Do girls think like that is strange and think the guy is wierd or do girls like that? girls, what advice do you have for me with talking with girls? or any other advice...

Don't worry about being shy! I'm a girl (very shy myself actually), and I love shy guys! The shy ones are always the sweetest and the nicest. I love how you know you are special if a shy guy makes an effort to talk to you. I can see your problem is making that effort though. I can tell you one thing, girls are scared of starting conversations too (at least I am), and a lot of times they will wait for YOU to talk to them. All you have to do is say "hi" and ask her a question. Ask her about something you know she's into. A question shows you are interested and it's always a good conversation starter. It will get her talking and then with the ice broken, you can have a good, normal conversation. Remember, the majority of girls won't be snobby or rude if you try to start a conversation (the ones that are aren't worth your time). Shyness can be tough and annoying (trust me, I know), but that makes it all the more rewarding when you are able to step out of your comfort zone and start talking!

I am exactly like you! From my experience a shy guy is a big turn-off to many women. They want someone who can keep the conversation going and someone who can make them laugh. Try to buy books to improve your conversation skills. Try to develop a sense of humor. Be more outgoing with everyone. Get away from your comfort zone at least 4 times a week and talk to people you do not know. This will force you to learn how to be a better conversationlist. This is what I am doing right now , and I hate it!

I so know what you mean, i'm a girl and i have always been shy and i do feel a bit uneasy when talking to people i have never met before, but seriously just talk about anything, something on the news, what you did at the weekend etc, and you'll soon find yourself swallowed up in conversation and meeting lots of new people, just be yourself, and i feel a bit silly when i don't know what to say at first but i always make them laugh with my random comments, just go for it, you've got nothing to lose! :-)

Personally, I think it's cute but it's not weird if a guy is shy. Just pick out some subjects like music, movies, or just ask about her in general. Trust me once you find the right conversation starter and the right girl you will have a blast.

man oh man! I was just like you. Actually, my senior year I won the shyest senior award! The thing is about having comfort. You're probably not around a lot of girls. It makes a scarcity effect so that when you do talk to a girl you feel nervous and put a lot of value on that one interaction. Simple cure: Let yourself be surrounded by women constantly. How do you make a kid swim? Throw em in the pool!

i personally like the shy type my bf now only talks when he's around me, family, or close friends all other ppl think he never talks he's really sweet tho u'll learn that the shy guys get better weman when they r older b/c shy is mysterious so jus hang in thier i'm a model and i'm in love with a shy guy he's a sweetie too
u can talk just about anything as long as it's interesting

girls tend to prefer more outgoing guys, so all you have to do is be more confident and believe in yourself
talk about your interests and stuff you have in common
when your talking ask questions about the other person, becuase people enjoy talking about themselves and if your a really good listener and take a real interest in what they;re saying to you they'll warm to you in know time! Good luck!!

I think that guys that are shy are so adorable!!! Like the way they sit there and just stare at a girl, and they dont know what to say!! I think its cute when they do that, thats when I know that a guy really likes me, becuase they dont know what to say to me!!!! And dont worry that your shy, becuase sometimes I get that way whena guy starts saying all these sweet things!!!!

i don't mind shy guys as long as sooner or later they come around and become more comfortable around me. I'm shy myself until I get to know someone so I can kind of understand it.

lol i like guys who are sorta shy but not stumbling ovr every word its kinda cute when u guys blush and stammer a bit but not when u come up with ur tongue hanging out of u're mouth and can't utter a word
