I have the disposable ones where i throw them away after about 2 months. Whenever i first open a new contact lense it feels fine for the whole day. but then after a week or 2 they start to hurt in the middle of school. And i dont want to wear my glasses cause then i look retarded in them. Does anyone know whats wrong or how to fix it? thanks!!

You should check with your optometrist. You may have excess build up on your lenses and need to change your lenses more often.

My contacts used to make my eyes dry and irritated. I started using AOSept to clean and disinfect them. This line doesn't have as many preservatives as one step/multi-purpose solutions. One step/multi-purpose solutions also have detergents that may irritate your eyes.

Again, check with your doctor and let him/her know your experience. He/she can tell you if you need to change your lenses more frequently and recommend another cleaning system.

Can you tell us the brand? So we can help better. Usually, contacts do not last two months. So I'm curious about the brand name. They're usually a span of 1 day, 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, or 1 year. Usually contacts hurt because your eyes are dry. If you are suffering from headaches then the prescription is wrong. If your eyes hurt again, put some saline solution in them. DO NOT USE VISINE OR CLEAR EYES. They just make your eyes worse. I also recommend using a solution that is very clean feeling. I like Opti Free Replenish. ANd, if your contacts are freshlook or other colored contacts, then they hurt because that is how those contacts are.

if they hurt maybe they r dry and making ur eyes hurt try taking them out and put solution on them and put them back in ur eyes. if this is the problem then they should feel better. if thats not helping then u may have to change into new ones every 2 weeks

well they might be dry (which is most likely the case) so always have eye drops with you that are for contacts like visine. another propable reason that would make your eyes hurt would be your type of contacts. You said that you have the ones that u throw out every two months. It would be healthier, more comfortable, and they wouldnt dry out of fast if you wear contacts that are thrown out every two weeks.
