I really was not looking for stories only venting. I have lived away from home since marraige, I think I am just having a hard time adjusting to everyone. But if you would like to compare. Aunt calls law on my parents all the time for no reason, also she is evicting her own mother from her home of 60 years. In-laws are just as bad FIL put his mother away hoping that she would die, Mother in law is an alcoholic, sister-in-law thinks she is better than everyone else because she has a college education. She looks down on everyone else. Other SIL likes to twist what everyone says to her advantage---- and thats not even the half of it.

One side of my family has serious issues. My grandma loves her sons more than my dad... so she treats them better. She doesn't even want to see HIS family or children.... it's sad. And it's also amazing that she is like this at such an old age. I mean, when you're old... wouldn't you want to get right with your family and enjoy what life you have left?? I mean, we didn't even do anything WRONG and she's acting like a child holding the strongest grudge over NOTHING.

I am sorry that you have to put up with such wacky relatives. I am so blessed that I'm an orphan and an only child, and so is DH.:) I wouldn't want it any other way.

Have I got a site for you! I go to this site often to read the latest stories, and I can't believe some of these people:

every family has them. my sis-in-law would throw her husband out everytime he got drunk. He would wander off in his car and she would start calling every one asking if we had seen him. He got as far as Ohio once. He wandered off because he couldn't bear to be alone. Yet he'd have no money or very little on him and end up in a homeless shelter for the night then he would call his dad because he had lost his car. SIL would then drive to where ever and find his car. And it would start all over again.

let's see......crazy as in members who just stop calling or just disappear into thin air? or as in pathological liars, manipulative folks who may also have anger, alcohol, abuse, adultery and other 'minor' issues but act like they are the most perfect beings on earth and still manage to point fingers at everyone else and call the world crazy? what exactly do you mean by crazy? :)

There's always at least 1 or 2 crazies in the family. It's not just your family.

You didn't even tell us your story so we could give you one that wouldn't make yours seem so bad. We need something to compare to.
