Honey, there's no problem with you being in love, but please remember that you've got a lot of living to do and in the next 5 years you're going to do a lot of changing. I can almost guarantee that your feelings for this person will change completely by them time you're old enough to vote. Don't believe me? Try taking a little time to write all about yourself, what you're interested in, what's happening in your life right now, what's really worrying you, and what's really important to you. Then put that letter away somewhere and don't look at it again for another....let's say 3 years. By the time you're 17 you won't even remember half the things that seem so important to you now. But that's just a part of life. You live, you love, and you learn.....but the learning is a very important part of that puzzle!

You can love someone at any age. But it's not a good idea to be in a serious relationship at your age, because you'll go through a lot of changes and grow up a lot during your teen years. I know that's hard to understand--I didn't understand it myself until I got older. Just have fun with friends, both guys and girls, and don't worry too much about dating. There will be plenty of time for that later.

1. At 14, you should be enjoying whats left of your childhood more.

2. At 14 your body is just developing, hormones are raging and its pulling you a 1000 different ways. Very delicate time in your life, you don't know what you want.

3. At 14 your more prone to make a stupid mistake like believe a guy who's 17 that he loves you and end up getting pregnant.

being in smart classes or taking higher level classes doesn't have ANYTHING to do with you "being in love".
people probably say that because they don't think you're old enough to know what true love is, or not mature enough. you're only 14 years old. you have a lot ahead of you.
many probably think that you just aren't "experienced" enough.
don't let it get to you. keep up the good work in school, and don't worry about what other people say.
if you feel like you are in love, then that's all that really matters.
