Does it matter that much who cooks? When we got married my wife literally did not know more than a couple of dishes. I was much better than her. I had lived with three more friends in a rented house while at university, and I learned to cook and do other housework then. I never thought that cooking was specifically a woman's duty at home. Now my wife is a good cook. She makes traditional meals as well as improvising. I still cook at home though not as often as before. I enjoy experimenting and improvising too. One can learn to prepare almost any meal, as long as the ingredients and utensils are available.

Practice, Practice, Practice. Also get recipes, cook books, and
just plain experimenting with foods. Sometimes I will add or leave
out an ingredient or add something more spicier or less. I do
not see myself as a great cook. Just make sure that you add salt
to foods before you cook them just not to much you can always
add a little more after you cook it. Good cooking, have fun and in
joy.

I cook everything from scratch-no mixes, not artificial colors or ingredients, nothing canned or frozen. I make my own butter, yogurt and cheese with raw milk from my cow, Abigail. I learned to cook when I moved out on my own at age 18. Its super easy if you let it be. Watch cooking shows, read cookbooks, and dont be afraid to try new things. There is no real science to it, just common sense. Happy cooking-I am going out to milk the cow

This should prove to be a very interesting question ,,,,,,,, good thinking. In my home my husband does the majority of the cooking . Which leaves me with the torture of dishes , ha ha ha,,,,,,. My husband is very adventurous when it comes to experimenting with a recipe . He has a majical touch when it comes to improving on an already great taste . The way to a woman's heart,,,,,,,,,,,A man who can take the heat over the stove and still melt your heart with good taste . I LIKE THAT : P

practice makes perfect. unfortunately, you're going to have a bunch of disasters before you reach culinary genius and the only way to improve is by making mistakes and learning from them. you can also watch the food network and friends or family members that cook to help cut back on the amount of mistakes made, but it happens.
my boyfriend and i are both chefs, but i still do the majority of the cooking and i have several food allergies, so the only way for me to improve is to just experiment. good luck!!
