Okay. So after someone dies they get questioned by the angels of death Nakeer & Munkar (I think those are their names) And then the day of Judgment comes. an Angel blows a horn 3 times, one to alert everyone the day has come, the second blow everyone dies, the 3rd blow everyone comes to life and then they go to hell or to heaven. When I ask my mother how long we stay there she says you stay there forever. So im like when does 'ever' end? she says, it doesn't. so im like we just stay there, and shes like yeah. doesnt this thought kinda scare you? like you just stay there.
you stay and stay and stay and stay and stay. It's kinda scary, right?Like you stay there till the end of your life, except your life never ends 'cause it already did.
Can people here tell me how they feel about this subject? thanks in advance.

Only the unbelievers (Kaffirs) stay there forever. However, for us Muslims, we stay there based on how we did in life ( the test ). If Allah thinks you've followed the teachings of Islam then you spend forever in Heaven/Junnah. But if you've made some mistakes in your life you stay there based on how bad those Gunaahs were ( Not Forever ). For Muslims, you will always be released for the Hellfire because we made the right decision ( Chose to be Muslim ). You could be the worst Muslim in the world you will still make it out but in an extended period of time and punishment. The advantages of being a (good) Muslim is limitless, one is you don't have to worry on the day of Judgment. Subhan Allah. Good Q.

its not scary, its just our belief as Muslims, we will see the day of judgement, we will be questioned for things we did, we will be punished or rewarded accordingly. InshaAllah the stay in hell, if so determined, will be limited in relation to what we deserve and then life in heaven/junnah will be neevr ending. May Allah bless us all with the light of the right path, amin

Praise be to Allah.

No sister, It's not scary at all if you imagine yourself in the Heaven, and it's scary if you imagine yourself in the Hell.

That's why every muslim should do a lot of good things and try as much as he can to avoid bad things before he dies, scaring from Hell and asking for Heaven.

It shouldn't be scary. Time is a man-made concept. We look at it like a begining and an end/ point a to point b. Look at it more like an infinite circle that has no begining and no ending.

Well you're living on earth ....that should be more scarier....

if you're going to hell...its scary
if you're going to heaven...its not

In heaven all hearts will have what they desire...every happiness..
Happiness is not scary at all...
Living forever is not scary......it's being vanished completely that is...
that's something I would be really scared of...
