depends on what is happeneing and what u 2 r doing. if he picks you up and pays for everything and makes a date to go do something w/you then it is a date.

If it's a friend whose got something on his mind then that's what it is. Or if it's coworkers. In those instances, you each pay for what you order.
I think a date is established as a date and the man pays.

You can feel that way even if it wasn't a date.
If you feel like someone cared for you over a
period of time, it could feel like that.
