Yeah, it's primitive but i t works...
Get a strainer, put a paper towel in it, measure a tablesppon of
starbucks..
Boil a cup of water... pour it in the strainer.. and let it drip into the cup.

There is something that you can use to make coffee. In fact, you can use any coffee by using that.
It's called French Press and it varies in sizes. Some people buy a small one that is enough for a cup, some people buy a medium one that is enough for two cups and some people buy a large one that is enough for three cups.
So, it depends on how large you want that certain French Press to be, it would be between $10 to $20, depending on the size and the brand.

You can get a Melita system from the grocery store. Melita is a plastic funnel that uses a filter. You put the funnel on top of a cup and pour hot water on top of the ground coffee. It makes great coffee but it will take a couple of tries to get the right measure of coffee to suit your taste. You want a fine ground coffee.

If you can afford to buy ground coffee from starbucks (shudders) you can surely afford an extra 15-20 bucks for a cheap coffee maker. Right?

You could put the grounds in a pot of boiling water, then pour it through a coffee filter into the cup. For espresso, the water needs to be under pressure, so you need a machine for that.

no. you need a macheine that can extract the flavor from the grounds by passing water thru it and then you mix it with scalded milk. you need a coffee macheine for their regular brew or an espresso macheine for their espresso drinks. sorry!!

You can boil water, dump the grounds in it, let it steep, then strain into a mug.
