The Christians want to spread their poison and convert us, that's why they're here.

I love discussing religion and I have been mystified by the fact that reasonable and clear thinking Christians can have such blind faith and have the inability to open their eyes and see the world around them.

I am an Athiest

I believe the best Christians are the ones who actually doubt some aspects of their religion and can somehow think for themselves in such a restraining and suffocating environment such as a church community

This is what I would like to discuss
and this is why I browse the Religion section

To reinforce their "belief" that there is nothing greater than what we can see, feel, hear, smell and taste.

A strange position when even science agrees that we can not "see" 90% of what makes up the universe. Atoms and everything we experience as "solid" are 90% "empty space". Humans do not use 90% of their brain power. DNA, according to modern science, is 90% "junk".

Am I seeing a pattern here?

What if "reality" really exists in that other 90% of what we normally do not experience?

Because most athiest are really just agnostics, still trying to find the answers to their questions about life after death. They still need a moral boundary, a foundation and reason for life and living. They still need to find a way to get rid of the feelings of guilt and condemnation they feel within...so they keep seeking answers....from the rest of the religious world. Most are really just mad at God because He did not answer their selfish prayers, or because a loved one died. They can't cope without contimually looking and trying to understand what no one seems to be telling them face to face. God has the answers. He loves the athiest, and if you do not believe in Him, He still believes in you!

Want to know why the reasonable non-believers (not the flippant) hang around this forum so much?

Well it is obvious that they have fun mocking our Lord. You know as well as I do that in the end EVERY knee will bow and confess God! Hopefully it will be becasue they hang out with the Christians in this forum long enough that they finally see the light. Just pray for them, don't let them cause you to sin!

If you're asking us atheists why "they" are spending time in this section, well, I couldn't personally speak for them, but my guess would be to ask & answer questions.

There is no such thing as an Atheist. Let one get hurt really bad and then listen to them pray. Let one be in real danger like in combat or air sea rescue w USCG and watch his actions. They are the ones who pray hardest.

It is a bit like a deaf person being in the music section.
Maybe they secretly long to share in what they can not understand.
