We aren't dating but are there any clear signals that a girl may show if she has strong feelings for a guy but is also proud and doesn't want them to show?

You can tell when someone has feelings for you if you've been friends together for a while and the way they start to act around you changes. For example, if the two of you used to just be able to sit and talk about anything and now the person seems to get restless when you talk about someone your interested in or that is interested in you, that's usually a sign.
If she id trying to hide it, it may become more noticeable to you. Like if she says something that may give you that impression and before you respond she tries to clean it up, she may be interested in you. And if she seems to want to spend more time around you alone if you used to hang out with her in a group she may be inters ted in you. She may want then to show but is to proud. And proud people tend to worry about being hurt. So if your interested in her let her know, that's the best way to get a proud person open!

OK. First let me say that this does not change. If there is attraction btwn 2 people it is always like being 16 again and everyone gets stupid. Even if you are 20, 30 or...? Some people are just unconscious natural flirts, so it makes it difficult. Spend time with the person. Don't be afraid. Trust your instinct. It rarely helps, but trust it anyway.
And remember how difficult this is for you and when someone is interested in you and you do not feel the same be kind to them and be honest.

If a girl has feelings for you maybe she wants to be friends first to test the waters.Many people today do not trust because of past failures.If they want to spend alot of time with you and you pursue
the interest the relationship can move to a new level.Clear signals are how she looks into your eyes.Long and studying or Quick and short.The eyes tell it all.Her actions will speak louder then her words.

She may bump into you or ask you a question or start a conversation or something, just to be around you. OR she might completely ignore you and act snotty. The best way to figure out is to just ask "Hey, want to get drinks on Friday?" (This also wins brownie points because if she does like you, then you're taking the first step and that a good sign.)

well, girls like to the hang aroung guys they like (I do) and they tend to act very flirty.
